Can OSCAR provide actual sleep time? - mcman56 - 10-03-2022

The ResMed Airsense 10 has a ramp mode.  This uses breathing rhythm to estimate when you are asleep so that it can adjust machine settings.  I am not using that function but am wondering if OSCAR can use the breath data to provide a sleep time in addition to a session time?   It would be interesting to see a total sleep time for the day.

None of the CPAPs have the ability to detect or report sleep time or stage, however the auto-ramp is programmed to recognize a characteristic pattern of breathing that is typical of transition to sleep. This is generally a more steady rhythm and flow rate than awake breathing.
