How can you snore without any flow limits? - TexasDon - 03-18-2023

My data from last night was AHI=0.  However, I snored during times when graph showed no flow limits.   Is that possible?   Kinda thought the snoring was proof of interference to air flow, which is how I think of flow limits.  My wife just informed me that I snore every night.   Hmm.

I assume you're asking just out of curiosity? It would be good if you post an OSCAR chart.

Anyway, your machine categorizes snores and FLs based on the air flow patterns it detects. So while you may be correct that snoring indicates some limitation of air flow, that is not the definition of what the machine recognizes and marks as FL.

You can find a nice chat in the wiki about this.

I've never seen an ahi of 0, where are you seeing this on your machine? Please upload your Oscar data.
