Weird breathing flow - Rich66 - 01-09-2024

Hello, I have some weird breathing pattern I've never seen.  Does someone know what it's about?  I sure don't.  I woke up and having to breathe heavily.  3 images, all same day, just zooming in.  Thank you.

Rich, it appears to be obstructive with very flow-limited breathing. The ASV was delivering the maximum PS your settings allow, which is pretty low, but that was insufficient to overcome the flow resistance. I'm a little surprised EPAP did not rise in response to this. This may have been positional. With the ASV we can't tell what part of respiration is spontaneous or caused by pressure support. If the pattern becomes a more common feature of your sleep, I would suggest looking into positional issues or try higher PS max.
