Bumped up my IPAP pressure - justMongo - 10-30-2013

My last sleep study was in 2009. It was a split night study; and the titration portion was rather short. My AHI in BiLevel was in the sevens.

I recently got access to my full menus. My AHI has been running 5.6.
So, I bumped up the IPAP by 0.4 cm-H2O; and my AHI has gone to 4.8

Although, I am tempted to dial in just a little more, I think I'm where I want to be.

Hi justMongo,
Great to hear that raising your IPAP pressure worked for you. I know it's tempting to raise it a bit more, but you might want to wait a week or two between changes to see the trends in your data.

You really should consider getting software to see your actual results.
You might discover most of your events are right at bed time or wake up time and you actually sleep event free. You can't know without the detailed graphs. I find it comforting to know exactly whats happening good or bad, so I can fix it or see my doc to find a fix.
If I had not brought detailed graphs to my new sleep doctor 3 weeks ago I would not have known I had complex apnea and I would not now have a new ASV machine to properly treat it.
