3 years and counting - zonk - 11-30-2013 3 years ago been diagnosed with OSA and have used my CPAP every day without fail. Numbers looks good but more importantly feeling great too. Not every day is the same, some days are not as good but overall a happy camper Just to say thank you and I cannot go out and hug people, they might put me in a straight jacket and straight to the nut house For newbies, the rewards are there ... keep working on your CPAP therapy RE: 3 years and counting - PaulaO2 - 11-30-2013 Good for you, zonk. You make this place great! RE: 3 years and counting - trish6hundred - 11-30-2013 Hi zonk, CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks for your "many" helpful posts,. BIG HUG to you, too, keep up the good work. RE: 3 years and counting - Tez62 - 11-30-2013 Well done from another Aussie, Zonk. We should all celebrate milestones RE: 3 years and counting - DeepBreathing - 12-01-2013 Well done mate! Thanks for all your help in the forums. RE: 3 years and counting - graeme - 12-02-2013 Stick with it. I'm a 200 day veteran now. I find that by keeping a manual "Sleep Log" where I record Hours of Therapy, AHI, Periodic Breathing and make comments such as "Sniffles, Good Night, Restless due Worrying" etc . Then when I download my data, I can see the influence of these have on my readings, so I can take steps to ensure that they do not occur. Sniffles due to a cold show as Snores!, and blocked nose shows as an OSA! RE: 3 years and counting - Adrianf - 12-02-2013 Good news on your progress. Now if I can get as good a result I would be over the moon. I have only had my machine a couple of weeks and use every night I still wake up in the middle of the night and feel terrible in the mornings. I had a few good nights but now seem to be heading back the way I was. Adrian RE: 3 years and counting - DrWho? - 12-02-2013 Well done Zonk and I couldn't agree with you more. Cant get over the amount of fellow Aussies that replied to Zonk's post! lol RE: 3 years and counting - Tez62 - 12-02-2013 (12-02-2013, 01:15 AM)Adrianf Wrote: Good news on your progress. Adrian, for the majority of people, they don't start to feel the real effects for between 3-6 months, you have to be patient and it will come, if not, then you need to review it with your sleep specialist. RE: 3 years and counting - me50 - 12-02-2013 Awesome Zonk! Epic even! Gives hope to those that have not gotten there yet! Be proactive in your medical issues!! |
