Mix Masks and Machines - apdtap - 12-06-2013

Are masks interchangable on different machines from different manufacturers? e.g. Philips Wisp on ResMed. Some machines can select the type of masks such as full, nasal & pillow as well as hose sizes. Some suppliers say yes, some say no & some say may be. There are only 15 & 22 mm hose and they seem to at least interconnect properly. Any comments?

I think that as long as the hose fits -- you can use any combination. You may find another mask by another manufacturer that will work better.

The S9 automatically set the hose type whenever climatelne is connected otherwise you must set hose type if using slimline hose 15mm (not the climateline) or standard hose 22mm
