Code - replace filter - boar - 01-05-2014 Hi All, I have had my machine since October last year. Last night I saw a pop up saying "replace the filter". Is this right? Surely, the filter would last longer than 3 months or so? RE: Code - replace filter - zonk - 01-05-2014 Hi boar That how the reminder is set, you change it or cancel it in the clinical menu reminders ResMed say to change the filter every 6 months or more often if required RE: Code - replace filter - boar - 01-05-2014 Thanks for the info, Zonk. Appreciated it. Cheers. RE: Code - replace filter - me50 - 01-06-2014 (01-05-2014, 09:08 PM)boar Wrote: Hi All, I replace my filters 2 times per month. It depends on what kind of filters you are using. I have disposable filters. RE: Code - replace filter - trish6hundred - 01-07-2014 Hi boar, I replace mine about every 6 months give or take, but I don't have a very dusty invironment and I don't have any pets so, their dander and hair isn't a problem for me either. YMMV. RE: Code - replace filter - zonk - 01-08-2014 Normally I buy 12 pack ResMed S9 filters from local supply store or from Supplier #13 for $30 Once I have ordered generic S9 filters (with other supplies) by mistake from Supplier #10 but had to send them back for store credit (filters is the only item cheaper in Australia) http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-CPAP-Supplier-List RE: Code - replace filter - me50 - 01-08-2014 Whew! Those are expensive if you change them out 2 times per month like I do. I either get mine free or I just pay between $1 or $2 for 2 of them if the DME doesn't have them. |
