Liberty Mask - GreyParrot - 01-24-2014 I just received a ReMed Liberty Hybrid Mask. My ResMed S9 has no setting for Hybrid. Should I just leave it set on Fullface or should I set it on Nasal Pillow? Thanks RE: Liberty Mask - trish6hundred - 01-24-2014 Hi GreyParrot, The Liberty is considered a full-face mask, so you would have your machine on the full-face-mask setting. I hope you like the new mask. Hang in there for more responses to your post. RE: Liberty Mask - c0reDump - 01-24-2014 Looking at the ResMed site for the Mirage Liberty mask, the first sentence has: "Mirage Liberty is a full face mask that seals individually at the mouth and nose." I'd leave the S9 with FF settings, and ask your DME to confirm. RE: Liberty Mask - zonk - 01-24-2014 Mirage Liberty ... mask setting ... Full Face Sorry, the link to ResMed mask setting is not working RE: Liberty Mask - zonk - 01-24-2014 This link should work ... RE: Liberty Mask - GreyParrot - 01-24-2014 Thanks everyone. It did say FullFace on resmed site. I asked the vendor and they told me nasal pillow. I didn't think that souned correct, so I came straight here :>). I don't have a DME to ask for those that suggested that route. RE: Liberty Mask - trish6hundred - 01-24-2014 Hi GreyParrot, It's a combination of a mask that goes over your mouth and it also has pillows to go into your nostriles. I think it is also call a hybrid mask. RE: Liberty Mask - eviltim - 01-24-2014 Id go with full face, but honestly the mask setting on the machine doesnt really matter except for leak reporting. It won't make a difference in the quality of your therapy. |
