ReMStar 260 vs 560 A flex vs C flex - Kayo - 03-24-2014

I currently use a ReMstar Auto 560P and I am thinking about purchasing a machine. I have found one that is 260P and I can't find the difference. Also what is the difference between a c flex and a a flex.

Just trying to figure out which machine is best for me so I can stop paying a monthly fee to rent one and buy one instead.

Thank you!

Moving this to the main forum.

The x-Flex is Respironics term for exhale relief. A flex is designed for APAP machines and the C flex is for CPAP machines.

As for the difference between the 260 and the 560, I think the 260 is a non-data capable CPAP and the 560 is a data capable autoPAP.

Hi Kayo,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
Just make sure that whatever you buy, that it's a data-capable machine.
Hang in there and someone who knows the difference between those two models you mentioned will be along to help you soon. Best of luck to you on your decision.

Paula is correct on both accounts

Models numbers below 460 are not data capable machine
