Machine Reccomendations - Bruno2 - 04-06-2014

I was looking for recommendations on brands and models of machines that have worked well for members here. I am going to be looking for one used to purchase. I have previously bought one that you guys call a "brick". I am using it and working out the hurdles of a first time user. Everything is getting better with this one, but I want to be more knowledgeable about my next purchase.

All help and advice is greatly appreciated!

This is a good place to start:

Basically, if going with a Philips-Respironics System One (PRS1), don't get any machine lower than the 460.
If going for ResMed S9, avoid any with the word "Escape" in the name such as the Escape and the Escape Auto.

1- ResMed S9 AutoSet (not S9 Escape Auto)
Model name (S9 AutoSet) printed next to on/off button

2- Phillips Respironcis System one REMstar Auto with A-Flex 560 HS or 560 TS
HS= System One humidifier and SD card capable
TS = System One heated tube humidifier and SD card capable
Model number (560) printed on the label stuck at the bottom of the machine
