Neat trick with cpap hose - Sinkiller - 05-20-2014

I had a regular problem with my pillows mask being dislodged during sleep. I keel my Apap machine on a low shelf near my bed about two feet below mattress height. This caused the weight of the hose to pull against the mask and dislodge it whenever I moved. My solution was to loop an old tie over the bedpost and thread the hose up through the loop and down to the mattress. This directed the hose to my Mack from above and behind rather than below and beside. The results are no more drag on the mask and better rainout drainage back to the humidifier. I know they sell a device to accomplish the same thing but this was cheap and works well. Hope it can help those of u with similar issues.

Hi Sinkiller,
Great tip.
Anything you can do to help CPAP work mor efficiently, for you, is what counts.
Nothing wrong with a less expensive solution, for sure, thank you for passing it on.

I use an old mic boom stand and mic boom. Same thing, really.
