zero leaks - readyforsleep - 05-21-2014 S9 auto set with zero leaks. This is a glitch right? The S9 series subtracts out the "intentional leak" rate from its data. If you aren't leaking more than the amount of air it estimates your mask will leak out the vent holes, it reports zero leaks. It's a severe design flaw in my opinion, but that's what it does. PRS1 machines record both the real leak information and the estimated "unintional leak" rate. RE: zero leaks - herbm - 05-21-2014 Zero leaks, which value? Max? probably should NOT believe that. Median? Sure, my median leak is almost always 0. 95%? Maybe. I get 0 for this value a few days per week so someone might do a little better at fitting or the machine might be subtracting just a little more than you mask actually leaks and you would get zero. RE: zero leaks - Bama Rambler - 05-21-2014 You need to leave it unplugged for more than 5 minutes. 30 minutes at least and an hour would be better. There are capacitors in the machine that take a while to discharge. RE: zero leaks - PaytonA - 05-21-2014 Is your S9 set for the right mask type? Ahi looks good? All else fine? You can sure test it. Plug it in, put on a mask turn it on, unseat the mask a bit. Got air? Got leak.... Does the report show it?
