EncoreViewer software issues - Grumpy53 - 05-26-2014
I am currently using a resmed S9 autoset. I was told that respironics encore viewer 2.1 software would work with my machine. I loaded the software, but it won't read the SD card info. It recognizes it, but says it can't read the card. I can't use sleepyhead because it isn't recognized by the clinic doctors for my physicals. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Be gentle, it's my first post.

WELCOME! to the forum.!
Encore Viewer will only work with Respironics machines. You can also use SleepyHead with Respironics machines.
ResScan or SleepyHead will work with Resmed machines .
Most people like SleepyHead a bit better.

Yep, Trish is correct.
Since you need one for your doctor, I'd suggest ResScan - it's an official ResMed software package and should satisfy any doctor's or insurance companies requirements for compliance and data. Instructions on how to get it free here in our Private Files & Links Forum:

Philips Respironics machines need Encore Viewer (or Encore Basic or Encore Pro) software.
