I am mystified why my AHI is going up as I am losing weight, so far I have lost 23 lbs and have 30 to go. I know I was told that if the CA's were increasing, then that would possibly be not a big deal, but it's really the OA. I was having about 0.2 something or other and now it's up to 2.16 last night. Funny thing, I am sleeping very well, and hardly waking up and before I was waking up 2-3 times a night. My stats are:

I am not sure what to look for so I am attaching a screen shot of last night. Does this look like a REM issue? I was told that when you go through REM cycles you can have this happen, but I just don't know if that is the deal.

Thanks!!!

Marnid,

I think I remember reading a post by someone who lost significant weight and had to raise their therapy pressure. Probably not the norm but not necessarily something that needs to be worried about. It also might be your body readjusting.
Just keep on truckin' Marnid you are doing great.

Best Regards,

PaytonA

You included the AHI graph which is unnecessary but excluded the event graph which I like to see. You also omitted the color key at the top of the image and I am not smart enough yet to remember which events are what color, but I can easily match them to the event chart.

That is all what does matter the most

If I have to make a comment, I would suggest a chinstrap
One question if I may ask: is there a reason why going to bed in the early hours of the morning?

Looks like you have EPR set at 2 or 3, this is something for you and the doctor to find what level works better for you

The leak graph looks ok, but could be better. As Zonk suggests you might benefit from a chinstrap gently applied.

Other than that I would consider increasing your pressure from 6 to 7 for a few days and see how it looks.

It could simply be body positioning. As you lose weight, you are changing positions more or sleeping in a different position or something.

It is still well below 5, you are feeling good. Leave it alone but keep an eye on it. If it starts to regularly be into the 4 or you start to not feel like you are getting adequate sleep, then perhaps increase the pressure. But until then, continue to monitor.
