Innomed Nasal Aire II - MisterMac - 06-21-2014

When I first started Bi-Level therapy 16 years ago, I went through so many different masks and all of them were uncomfortable and leaked like a sieve.

Back in the early 2000's, a former co-worker, who was also on Bi-Level therapy, told me she was using the Innomed Nasal Aire prong mask and was much happier with it than her nasal pillows. I decided to ask my Dr. to prescribe the Nasal Aire for me. It was noisy, making a whistling noise, but loved it because it didn't leak and I could watch TV and fall asleep with it on.

When Innomed improved the mask with the Nasal Aire II several years later, it solved the problem with the whistling noise and it is the only mask I have used since.

There used to be a downside with the Nasal Aire II that you had to have your nasal openings measured by your Dr. or respiratory specialist for the correct size prong. Now you can purchase the mask kit with all prong sizes and find the one that fits.

The Nasal-Aire II is much cheaper than some other masks, so if you get your supplies from a DME, they may not carry it because they do not make much profit selling it.

If you are tired of uncomfortable, leaky masks, I highly recommend you consider the Nasal Aire II

I use a FFM, but your information should be useful for someone shopping for a nasal mask that is versatile, efficient, and a good value.
