SD memory card reports reading error - Ken Ft. Erie - 09-24-2014

My machine reports read error of original yr old ResMed SD card and says to return to maker. Can I put in a new SD card And if so, what size memory? If so, will ResMed machine do any needed formatting of card?

Yes you can replace the card with a 2 or 4 GB SD card. It does need to be an SD, not HC or whatever the higher capacity cards are called. Resmed will format it and put your stuff on it.

ResMed says to only use SD cards, not SDHC. Many of us have used SDHC cards with no problem. I've only heard one person report that SDHC cards don't work for him.

The machine will not take advantage of the extra space, but any size seems to work.
