Hose cover loops - dakuda - 10-29-2014

I have the Respironics hose cover. On the ends are loops made from the soft piece f velcro. Does anyone know why those loops are there?

Hi dakuda,
I don't know why they are made like that, unless they figure it is easier to put your finger through to undo the velcroe to remove it from the hose..
Of course that is only a guess on my part.

The matching other side of Velcro is on the fabric so you stretch the loop around and stick it to the cover to hold it tight to the end of hose. At least that's what I did although there was not instructions.

I get that the other side of velcro is on the cover itself. I guess I just wonder why it is a loop and not just a strap?
