Modems? - Slick7533 - 11-23-2014

My machine has a modem. I can hear it when it is active through speakers I have on the table next to my bed.

Who is it calling?

What is it reporting?

Why weren't these details disclosed to me when I got the machine?

My doctor doesn't know anything about that part of it.

The modem calls your DME who supplied the machine. It reports exactly how long and when you used the machine. The DME than reports that to the insurance company so he can get paid.
The alternatives include you bringing or mailing the SD card to the DME or you paying for the machine yourself ignoring any insurance.
