PR Nuance/Nuance Pro Headgear - WSHenry - 02-01-2015

I'm considering going back to a PR Nuance series masks as a backup to my ResMed P10. However, my experiences with the Nuance headgear earlier last year were not good. I found that the material frayed quickly, and the "sticky" material starting peeling/disbonding from the fabric after a couple of months use.

I understand PR had made some (subtle) changes in the headgear materials for the Nuance masks. I've inquired of both my local DME supplier and one of the main web-based sources, and neither is aware of the changes.

If true, when were they incorporated? Did it occur for items made on and after a certain date code?

Yes it has improved if you mean that strap that goes on the back of the head. It is not as sticky. It doesn't stick to itself as bad either. I've had it about 3 months and it has not turned black nor started to fall apart like the previous ones. I abuse my masks, too.

I still have the box. I usually recycle them immediately so I was surprised to find it.

This is for the fabric frame (non Pro)
