The saga continues - superdot5 - 02-28-2015 I purchased the Respironic BiPap ASV 960P with Humidifier and just had the worst night of sleep in my life. My last sleep lab was very good on the machine and I thought it would be a repeat performance. The tech set-up the new machine to the prescription but every time . . .not most of the time . . . every time I just about dozed off I got a shot of air that woke me up. The ramp button does not do anything. I looked for the ramp settings that appears in the guide but it is not showing up on my machine. The provider guide shows it too– but when I access this menu – nothing. I am sure this is operator error – any help would be appreciated. RE: The saga continues - trish6hundred - 02-28-2015 Hi superdot5, I'm sorry your first night on your new machine didn't go well. I don't know the answer to your questions but hang in there, someone will be along to help you. Good luck and don't give up. RE: The saga continues - DeepBreathing - 03-01-2015 Hi Superdot, welcome to the forum. I had this machine for a while before switching to the Resmed and didn't much like it. However I do know that it has a lot of adjustability so it should be possible to set it up to your liking. Unfortunately I only had it on loan so I never investigated the details. I do recall waking up frequently and hitting the ramp button though. Hopefully some of the Respironics experts will be able to chime in with some sound advice. |
