One of my sons friends was diagnosed with OSA several weeks ago and was having trouble adjusting to life with CPAP....that is until last night.
Phone Conversation
Me: Hello
Trina: I'm concerned about Brent
Me: Why
Trina: he went to bed last night at 11:00 and he is still not awake
current time is 09:30
Me: Trina I am sure he is fine
Trina: No no no he never sleeps this long
Me: Trina.....i think he's adjusted to the machine, my boy did the same thing once he adjusted.
Trina: Oh my god he's just laying there in bed not moving
Me: Um yeah...he's sleeping
I hear a gush of air
Brent: MOM! stop pulling my mask off I was sleeping!!!!
Trina: I think he's adjusted
Me:Go have some more coffee and have a nice morning
I hung the phone up and almost choked I was laughing so hard.

At least he doesn't have a cat that comes in with "Feed Me!" at 5 AM. Luckily my cat hasn't figured out how to turn off my machine. Yet...

Her son came over later that day and told my boy "My moms driving me batshit crazy thinking I'm dead in bed...li get over sleep apnea now I have mom mania to deal with"
Apparently when she called me that wasn't the first time she's pulled the mask off wondering if he was breathing
