RE: New Member
UPDATE:

I installed the ResScan software tonight and downloaded the data from my card. All seemed to go well. I locked the card before download, created my self as a patient, and let 'er rip. I unlocked the card before inserting it back into the S-10

I also have the .pdf's for the clinical manual and interpretation manual, so best get to reading. I'm sure I will have TONS of data questions.

1st day was on 7/17/2015 so I only have about 2 weeks data but it all seems to be there, so I must have followed the GREAT instructions here on this forum.

NOW to interpret all this data and see if any changes are in order.

Sleep well all! (isn't that why we are here)?Thinking-about

Welcome to here! Look forward to having you join our community! Sovling the mask issue is the first hurdle of successful therapy, IMO.

Welcome to the forum. I also recently upgraded equipment since my original in 2008. The new stuff is pretty nice compared to the old, and I also used the Swift FX and changed to the P10 (resistance is futile). I had some success in reducing AHI events, with the Sleepyhead software, and even got to work on RERA which the old machines did not measure. I believe your newest model Airsense 10 Autoset does as well.

Good luck!

Thanks, I'm actually studying the interpretation pdf now for the ResScan software. Still not making any sense yet.

I have a "last 7 days" window open to switch back and forth so I can help myself understand/associate the different meanings for each setting/statistic. I'll have to go through it a few times. I'm a SLOW learner.Big Grin

Is there an advantage to the sleepy head as compared to the ResScan, or is it for comparison purposes?

Chuck

I do believe I'm going to have to make a donation to this site, it, and the members has been very helpful so far. It's a loooonng way from a S-8 to a S-10 data/info wise.

Sleepyhead will give you more detailed data than ResScan.
Since I have a Respironics machine, I use Encore Basic and sleepyhead. I like to use both programs and compare.

Don't get all caught up in thinking you have to learn everything at once. It's not possible, but the more you look at your data the more you learn.

That is EXACTLY what is happening. The S-8 didn't give you any info, of course I wasn't wise enough to find this place either, (at the time).

I need a break from the reading anyway, Thanks, I'll look at the sleepy head. I think I've seen it in the private files section along with the ResScan.

Thank you for the insight.Thanks

Edit:
Hi Chuck, I really shouldn't say that sleepyhead gives more data than ResScan, since I don't use ResScan. I am just assuming that. I do think it's a good though to use both programs (in your case ResScan and SH) for comparison.
