I think this has gone far enough, I was discussing a DIY solution and trying to ensure anyone attempting this at home was scared enough to think twice if they didn't know what they were doing. You seem to want to simply dispute anything said.

Not just fake iPod chargers - Apple just had a major recall of chargers here in Oz and other countries.

Anyhow this has now gone well off topic, so maybe we should consider this thread closed.
