Many Thanks
If you don,t have the manual for your machine, you can ask for it (scroll down to section three)
http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-pr...tup-manual
S8 video would show you the working of the machine
http://vimeo.com/19565675

S8 autoset shows efficacy data AHI (AI,HI) , pressure and leak.
11.6 is the 95% percentile pressure. You were at or below 11.6 for 95% of the night (higher for 5% of the time)
Try to increase the minimum pressure slowly and keep an eye on the 95% pressure and adjust the upper pressure to 16 not bad idea. Resmed machines report mask leak (unintentional leak) and define large leak above 24 L/min (above the red line on the Resscan leak graph). Its ideal to be lower than 24 L/min as higher leak rate can affect the accuracy of data and the therapy.

4 is chosen to be sure that enough air escapes through the vent holes in the mask to flush out the CO2 and allow O2 into the mask. When you exhale, some of your breath flows back up the hose and needs to be flushed out.
Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.

If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.
