Info guide to use flashair sd card?
In surfing this site, I came across messages that mentioned using a flashair sd card. Sounds like a nifty way to transfer data between our cpap machines and our PC's! In my case, my S9 is up one floor, almost directly above my router. Which flashair sd should I purchase for my S9 and how do I set it up? Is it easy? I'm a PC user not a programmer... Smile

The preferred card is the Toshiba FlashAir. W-03 is the current model being offered. You might find some older W-02 models, they will work as well. Size isn't a concern since Resmed only uses 2Gb and all WiFi SD cards offered are considerably larger. Both of these cards will work with the two free download programs (Sleep Master and FlashPAP) provided by board members. The limiting factor being the distance from the wireless access point and the FlashAir. Their sites contain the program download and very good documentation.

Thanks for the links! I'll check them out. My cpap machine is about 12 feet away from my computer router so distance is probably not an issue. Reviews on the flashairs (w-03) are mixed on Amazon... I'll need to spend some time reviewing those comments before purchasing.

I gave up on the wifi card. It connection was not reliable on my network. My machine is on the floor beside the bed, with the bed and wall between it and my router.
The wifi card works a treat if I have it closer to the router, but it's easier to take the card out of the machine once a week for downloading.
Anyone in Australia want a wifi card to try ?

dwd1249, thanks for sharing your experience. I would have expected excellent signal strength and reliability at that range... I do not frequently check my reports since AHI is always less than 1.0 and leaks are under control with my anti leak strap. Staying with the status quo may be the best choice in my current situation.

I have the Toshiba and it works fine on a different floor of my house. I do have it in Station mode with a bridge point about 7m away.
