[Health] Understanding Sleepyhead Graphs.
#11
RE: Understanding Sleepyhead Graphs.
You are looking for an acceptable leak number. Well, yours probably is not too bad, but it is not very good either. I too use the pillow system and my "Time over leak redline" was .000%. Last November, I did record a 1.004% one day.

I do have unintentional leaks but rarely over the threshold. When I started they were much higher. The chin strap will help AND you will train yourself to keep your airway closed. It's not just keeping your mouth closed but your airway closed. Some nights I woke up with my mouth open and not leaking at all.

I can yawn AND breathe and still not leak. But if I hold that position for 10+ seconds I record an event.

Some members of this forum boast they can talk and drink at the same time.

Work at it and you can get better.
CPAP is a journey like “The Wizard of Oz”. It’s a long slow journey. You will face many problems and pick up many friends along the way. Just because you reach the poppies, it doesn’t mean you are in Kansas.

The Holy Grail?

At the very least, a useful skill Smile

That would be me.

I can do more than that, but this is a family friendly site. Smile
