Yes. The instruction manual even explains how.

Hi , firstly , have you ensured that the hose is turned fully to the right to make the electrical connections ? The hose only heats to the same temperature of the air being delivered so that it doesn't condense on the inside of the tube so I doubt you could feel any difference.
