Strange Flow Rate Pattern

RE: Strange Flow Rate Pattern
I just thought I'd add, these results are showing you could benefit from bilevel therapy, where a low EPAP could provide relief for the aerophagia, while providing pressure support which would relieve flow limitation on inhale.

RE: Strange Flow Rate Pattern
OK, I tried a fixed 8cm with EPAP of 3. Here's the results. There are quite a bit more OA's, but essentially no aerophagia this morning. Also, I don't really feel refreshed at all, even though I got a good amount of sleep time and don't remember waking up at all last night.

RE: Strange Flow Rate Pattern
I think your optimum pressure lies somewhere in this range. You can fine tune it to 8.6 or whatever seems to work. Keeping the aerophagia under control, and balanced with an AHI that leaves you refreshed is a personal choice. You have some very good tools to work with here, and hopefully you will find that balance. You may want to decide what pressure range you think may be best, then stick with that for a week before making further adjustments. You need to give any change some time to average out and show you what will be "normal".

Good luck, and good work getting this far.
