[Treatment] Central Apneas Occurring with CPAP use
#11
RE: Central Apneas Occurring with CPAP use
I use manual mode with a ClimateLine. Currently my humidity is set to 5 (can't go any higher in the winter without running out of water by morning) and the hose is set to 80 deg f. When the weather warms up and ambient humidity goes higher I usually set to 5.5/83 deg f or 6/86 deg f. These setting reliably prevent rain-out for me, but may not for those on lower pressure (reduced volume of air). I would leave it at 6 if it wouldn't run out of water so fast. I don't use Auto ClimateControl...can't get enough humidity out of it. I think it is too conservative so ResMed can make their rain out prevention claim regardless of pressure range and other circumstances. Auto CC set to 86 deg and I wake up with a half inch of water in the tank and camels wandering around in my sinus cavity.

(Suggestion to ResMed: H6i "Max" [optional] with larger tank available for the S10 series)
