Apnea-riddled sleep is so terrible...
Slept 8 hours last night. Didn't feel great when I woke up, so I checked the machine: 2.2 hours on. Not sure what happened there, but all I can think about today is how terrible apnea-riddled sleep is. I feel awful, like I'd rather have gone 5 or 6 hours without the machine and then just woken up. Anyone else feel like this?

Hi eviltim,
I'm sorry you had such a crappy night last night, and that you aren't feeling so hot today. Did you wake up to find that you had taken your mask off? Hope tonight gose better for you, hang in there for more responses.

No, it was on when I woke up. I have no idea.
It's fine...things like this happen once in a blue moon and remind me how lucky I am to have found and tolerated the CPAP therapy.

Get SleepyHead and check your data.
Sometimes, the CPAP machine takes a while to display your current data. There's also the problem that it considers a "day" to be noon to noon. This is especially a problem if your clock is set to the wrong time zone.
Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.
Useful links. Click here for information on the main alternative to CPAP. If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.

I have it. Went for two hours and then poof. Must've been some kind of disconnect as I woke up hours later with the mask on. Time issue was not a problem. TBH, I never bothered to fix it for daylight savings time, but I still sleep within it's "day."

I have similar things happen - woke up about 4:00 the other morning with the mask on but the hose neatly draped across the bedside table and the machine turned off. I need zolpidem to sleep, so I think that contributes to this type of episode. Are you on any medication which might cause nocturnal adventures?

Also be sure the auto-off is not enabled.
