Much more than 1 GB for an SD card is a waste. On my old S-9, it would not take the newer SDHC cards and I had to stick to SD standard. I found some 2 GB cards on Amazon and bought a handful. I don't know, but I've been told a big legged woman ain't got no .... wait, wrong context. I don't know but I've been told that the Respironics machines will use SDHC cards. Buy cheap, lower capacity.

Welcome to town.

Welcome Tom. As you can see we have some comedians here too! And they know they are worth every penny we pay them!

Hose drying: eerrr, yeah. I cleaned mine out yesterday, let it dry. There was some residual water in it when I put my mask on. It make funny sounds, so I took it off and gave it a shake. My husband got a cold wet spray across his shoulders... Dont-know

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

Drying hose. -- Was: New member introduction
TomM,

Welcome.

When drying my hose I use a hair dryer with NO heat. It takes about 3 minutes to dry. It also saves hours on the CPAP machine. Check out my other post, (in the main board title "lot of water into nose" with a picture of the plumbing parts I use as an adapter.

Certainly under $10 as long as you have a working hair dryer that can do no heat.

Sleeping better is SO important.

Yes, learning about Sleep Apnea/sleeping issues is quite a learning curve.

My Sleep specialist strongly recommends having a "no blue screen" time about 1/2 hour prior to going to bed. It seems the blue screen keeps the brain too active and can make it harder getting and staying asleep. I'm trying it, will see if it helps.

Is constant battle in my home. Wife can get by on little sleep and I need a lot.
I am going to buy some blue blocking glasses as soon as I re-find the link.
It seems there is an narrow wavelength range that penetrates the deepest in sea water and the frequency is what tells us day is dawned and time to be awake.

I use my PAP machine nightly and I feel great!

* blublocker.com
or the latest infomercial
* hdnightvision.com

Dunno.. I just don't drive at night so I can't say if they work.

* I do not endorse any of these. I'm laughing as I post these so .. do what you want. Smile
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee
