An Apnea Board Monitor (ABM) is a member of the Apnea Board Forum who volunteers to help watch the forum for rules violations and spam. As official staff members, they have the power to officially warn those who violate forum rules, and they can ban an abusive member.
Monitors are selected from within the Advisory Members group by a committee consisting of the forum Administrator, Moderators and currently-serving ABMs. Typically, a forum Monitor will have been an active Advisory Member for a substantial period of time prior to being added to our Monitors Group. In order to qualify, members must have been an active member for more than 6 months with a minimum of 300 quality posts in the Main Forum.
