Apnea Board members generally use one of two CPAP Software packages to analyze CPAP data:

1. ResScan Software for the PC - this software offers data and chart analysis for newer ResMed CPAP machines. To obtain a free copy, please join the Apnea Board forum (free) and navigate to our Private Files & Links area (near the bottom of the forums), where you will find a post on how to download the software. For help or to discuss this software, please go to the Apnea Board Software Support forum

2. OSCAR Software for the PC, Mac & Linux - this open-source software offers data and chart analysis for newer ResMed, Philips-Respironics and DeVilbiss CPAP machines. To obtain a free copy, please visit the OSCAR download page For help or to discuss this software, please go to the Apnea Board Software Support forum

Note: These software packages work best for newer, data-capable CPAP machines that store data on a small SD memory card. You will need a personal computer and an SD card reader to read your CPAP data. An inexpensive USB-connected SD card reader can be purchased for $15-25 at most computer supply stores.
