Stanford sleepiness scale (SSS)

The Stanford Sleepiness Scale is a system used to quickly assess how alert or sleepy a patient is feeling and discover patterns of alertness throughout the day. The scale comprises of a 1 to 7 rating, as shown below. Patients should pick what best represents how they are feeling and note the number.
