A little help needed with OSCAR

I'm using an S9 and I think I installed an sd card in the computer without "locking" it.  Now it wont work with OSCAR and I tried doing a "DIR D:" command ---the screen says "volume does not contain a recognized file system".  I tried to reformat the the sim card but even that didn't work.  I installed Oscar on a different computer--still no joy.  By-the way--how do I get the monthly calendar back on the screen as in the older version of Oscar???

Unlock the SD card to format it and use it with your machine.  It must be left unlocked to allow data to flow.

To see the calendar In OSCAR, click on the date or click View and select Daily Calendar.

Try another unlocked SD card if what you have continues to fail with it unlocked.

@ejbpesca: Thanks for helping. what file system should I use----exFAT or NTFS in reformatting the SD card?

FAT32 for a AS10 series. SD card can not be over 32 GB.

I think I got it to work on Fat32 as per co-pilot!---i'll try it tonight.---thanks for your help.

New formatted sd card works --thanks all
If I have sd card with a lot of recordings of night sleep on one machine and I change the machine --is it correct that if I put that sd card in a new or (newer) machine, that the new machine will erase all of the data?

I don't think it erases it, but it will continue to use that old machine's name, and may eventually run out of space. It's best to get a new SD card from Walmart or Amazon. Just make sure it's 32 GB. Higher will not work.
