AHI 0.8 - feel like garbage - baby on the way
Hi there
I'm really struggling at the moment with apnea. My doctor has just said everything is fine because AHI is low, so want me to go and ask about other things. My problems are related to sleep for sure though and today I'm as tired as I've ever been.
My last nights sleep is here:

I don't know if anyone can help me by taking a look and letting me know if there is anything of concern there, despite the 0.8 AHI, or if I should do as the sleep nurse says and go looking for answers elsewhere.
I've got baby number 2 on the way in a couple of months and I'm determined to do everything I can to get better so I can look after them to the best of my ability, so I'm really keen to understand if there's anything I can do differently.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations,
Are you on any medications that affect your breathing or sleep?
Do you have any health issues that affect your breathing or sleep?
Can you post a copy of your sleep report with your personal info redacted.
Please download the free Oscar program and upload these 5 charts and statistics and device settings.
Event Flags
Pressure
Flow rate
Leak Rate
Flow limits
Your Flow Limitations are too high and causing your pressure to increase throughout the night. Set EPR to 3, you might see an increase of CAs though, keep an eye on that.
If you zoom in the SleepHQ breathing chart you can see the breaths don't have nice round tops like normal. You have flow limitations. Flow limitations can result from anatomical narrowing of the airway.
RE: AHI 0.8 - feel like garbage - baby on the way
How was your AHI at lower pressures? Those are some pretty robust pressures.
None the less, outside (non-apap) influences on one's sleep is often not thought about. Sadly most folks (to include myself) thought that strapping on the mask would be the magic bullet for restful sleep. It wasn't. Turns out APAP was a link in a chain that needed mending in other areas. In my case in was a rip roaring case of dry eye and foot pain from a wonky L5 disk that was disrupting my sleep way more than I had imagined. Esp the dry eys. Once I started treatment for the dry eys, my sleep disruptions dropped drastically and thus has contributed greatly to feeling better with not one change to my APAP settings.

I see that more than half of your AHI are CAs. Was that the case in your sleep study? Please post a copy of your sleep study with personal information marked out. If you don't have a copy, ask your doctor's office or the sleep study people for a copy. That will help us better help you.
