AirCurve 10 Sleep Report Inaccurate

AirCurve 10 Sleep Report Inaccurate
After using a Respironics device for over 10 years, I recently received a new AirCurve 10 and the Sleep Report it displays seems to not be correct.  On the Sleep Report, I have the "Period" set to Day and have tested the results for two nights in a row.
For the first night, I slept around 11 hours, but the Sleep Report stated the "Hours Used" were "4:13".
For the second night, I slept 10 hours, but the Sleep Report stated the "Hours Used" were "3:40".
Could the machine be totally inaccurate?  To my knowledge, I do not sleep walk or wake up during the night.  From my perspective, I am spending 10 solid hours asleep in bed.
Has anyone else experienced this type of problem?  Any thoughts as to the large discrepancy in Hours Used?  Thank you.

What software? Maybe compare your results in OSCAR, but i've never known the machine hours in therapy to be wrong. Any chance your machine time is set incorrectly or you slept across noon machine time? Resmed splits the therapy hours per day at noon.

Hi jmcculloug! - Welcome

A Resmed day is from noon to noon. What time and date do you have your AC10 set to?

The time was set incorrectly on my machine due to a power outage.  I reset the time yesterday and, as of this morning, it shows I had 6:54 hours of use for the last day.  That seems more accurate.  Thanks for the help.

Your CPAP has a motherboard battery, that should maintain the date and time when disconnected from a power source. How old is your machine? The downside about the battery is Resmed soldered it in the holder. This makes it a real pain to change. Also, Resmed didn't use the most reliable clock. It needs to be checked every so often, because it will lose time.

My AirCurve is only about 2 months old.  I assumed the clock was off due to a power outage, but it could have never been set correctly by the vendor.  I will make sure to check on it periodically. Thanks.

I usually don't see more than 15-20 minutes of clock drift per year. It's good to maintain the time, but don't change it for travel as you can get into some issues with being unable to reset the correct time if you experience a date change. Anyway, glad the problem is solved.
