AirFit P10 Buckle Pain

AirFit P10 Buckle Pain
Hello all. New member. I’ve enjoyed the wealth of information here. I’m new to cpap use and have been using an Airsense 11 w/AirFit P10 for about a month. I feel like it’s gone well. Sleep study showed 28.1 events/hr and now I’m consistently down between 1-2/hr each night. Only issue I’m having is discomfort from the little mask strap buckle when I sleep on my right side. I’m sure if I had more hair it would help, but that’s not changing ?. What have other done to combat this? Thanks!

RE: AirFit P10 Buckle Pain
Hi Rossbaker1962!  -  Welcome
My P10 is so old that its headgear didn't come with buckles. Smile

You might consider getting some mask strap covers.  They are designed to help in alleviating the strap marks on your face.  I obtained mine from Supplier #26.  They do work.

Rossbaker1962 ,
You could buy the old style on amazon like these or check with the cpap suppliers here.

They can stretch over over time, that is why there is a clasp that you can put at the top.

Glad to hear that you have got used to therapy, great job.

RE: AirFit P10 Buckle Pain
I hate that buckle! I recently got a Mini for travel, and the P10 headgear that came with it has that new buckle. I had a couple of old-style straps and swapped it out BUT it appears that the old-style straps have been discontinued. The buckle catches my hair, making it hard to slip the headgear on and off.
The total length of the strap is smaller, so I had the buckle at its full extension. Not a fan.
