AirSense 10 grinding noise
Hi everyone,
So I managed to drop my ResMed AirSense 10 on the floor as I woke up, with the humidifier half full of water. I got the water out, and let the whole machine dry for a day.
When using it again, the motor sounds weird, like a grinding noise. I caught it on Youtube.

Did I manage to damage the motor?
Thanks a lot,
Kind regards

RE: AirSense 10 grinding noise
I don’t think you damage the blower motor. I would remove the tank and check the Air Outlet Adapter.
The sudden jolt may have dislodged that in a way that it’s not getting a proper connection to the tank and creating that whine. That adapter is removable .
RE: AirSense 10 grinding noise
Hi again,
The adapter seemed to be in place, popped it out and put it back but I still had the same noise and a too high pressure.
Headed to the government-sponsored repair shop which claimed it was something to do with the fan.
Anyway I received an AirSense 11 instead so I am happy.
Thanks a lot!
