I'm hoping someone may have seen this before. My Aircurve 10 is basically corrupting or not writing the SD cards properly. When I first got the machine, for months, no issue, I would let it finish writing when I turned the air flow off and pull my data card, no problem, all my Oscar Data was there for me. Now, long story short, even if I turn off the machine (power down) stand on one foot, and dance a jig 75% of the time there is no data to graph and the card is basically corrupted. I have had to format cards just to get them to work again, and sometimes I can't even do that. I am on my 3rd or 4th card now and I tried some new settings last night and wanted to see how they looked this am, nothing. The card has a file called data log on it but the info inside is corrupted and looks weird even when I view the file(s) in there location on the computer. I am going to try one more new card later today and maybe replace the external card reader on my computer just to eliminate that possibility but it really seems like it is something with the PAP machine reader. Again, I have tried all the low hanging fruit, yes I "eject" the card from my computer and I wait for the machine to finish reading etc etc. It is very frustrating to not be able to see the data.

Aircurve 10 SD Card reader errors/issues
Hello!

RE: Aircurve 10 SD Card reader errors/issues
You didn't mention what O/S you used to format the card. This can have an impact. If you are using a Windows or Mac, try one of these free formatters in the link below. Remember to use a FAT32 and make sure your card is no larger than a 32GB for an A10 machine.
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/ If no joy after trying the above, look at your PC's card reader. They are built dirt cheap, so reliability is out the window. ![]() - Red

Nailed it, I think it was the reader, but that free formatting software is bomber too, between the too it seems to have remedied it. The order things were happening was really making me think it was the machine BUT now thinking back it was taking longer and longer to load the oscar data, which points to the cheap ass reader being faulty. Spent $20 on a new one today AND used the formatting software and it seems to be working now. So THANKS!! I was starting to pull my hair out. ![]() |
