My experience is with the F 20, but I think would be applicable.  The same material that works great for one individual may not work well for another.  I started with the F 20 silicone.  It did not last very long for me without splitting.  I tried the F20 foam and I love it.  I have maybe one night per month where the seal drops below 100%, and then it stays in the 90s.  I keep two F20s by my bed at night.  If I get up to go to the bathroom, I will usually change to my second F 20.  The foam seems to compress over night, and changing to an unused mask seems to improve comfort.  Even though you are told not to wash the foam masks, I do wash them with Dawn every couple of weeks.    I do not squeeze them hard when drying as I think it could damage them.  I let them dry for a couple of days.  I have experienced very good durability washing the foam masks.  Insurance pays for  a mask a month, so I keep the 5-6 best masks and continue to rotate them.  I would say the foam is worth trying for anyone having mask issues.  Good luck!

Don't worry about squeezing them.  You can squeeze the bejeesuz out of them and once they are completely dried out, they will bounce back.

I do not worry about squeezing them when they are dry.  I do not find it necessary to try and squeeze every drop of water out when I wash them.  I prefer to just give them a couple of days to dry, and they always do. For me personally, the foam is durable.
