RE: Airsense 11 Time Zone Change
I have sent 2 contacts via their webpages about having to delete data to change timezone to reflect daylight saving time and have gotten zero response. It was boneheaded to take out the ability to adjust time from the 10 to the 11 and even stupider not to have a simple daylight savings yes no. I have programmed processors to do so and had to change the code to reflect when twice the schedule, it not hard so ResMed basically blew this one as the programmers didn't think it through. Frustrating.

Frustrating. Resmed (north america) customer service is just slightly better than dealing with a tyrant and gangster. At best, they will reply back with a completely unrelated script (template). Should you insist or request on escalating the query because they haven't provided you a resolution, they ignore you. As another example, the man who answers the ResMed North America line (seems to be just one) he sounds exactly like an unfriendly gangster and any question you have, no matter how simple for him to answer seems to be a hassle. In contrast, Resmed Australia is extremely helpful and will not hesitate to escalate any issue if it's within their scope (not something you need to refer to your CPAP provider). As far as the changing the clock, that's nuts with the A11. I am trying to analyze my data and it's very difficult especially given that time is grossly inaccurate despite the GMT matches my region. I'm seriously considering buying a new Airsense 10 now (mine is very old) since it was probably the second best CPAP machine I ever owned besides the Respironics Remstar Classic Pro. |
