Airsense 11 vs Airsense 10 Low SpO2 Readings

Airsense 11 vs Airsense 10 Low SpO2 Readings
Hi. I was just given an Airsense 11 yesterday and used it last night. My readings were terrible ie multiple readings for SpO2 in the 80s and I feel really tired this morning.  Mask fit was good. Settings the same as for my airsense 10.

Did anyone figure out what to do to make the 11 work? I did not use epr pressure relief previously but tried it last night. Maybe I should turn that off? Or increase pressure overall.

Love to hear what others have done.

RE: Airsense 11 vs Airsense 10
Hi. I can't seem to find my post and not sure if it worked or not (I'm new here). in short, I tried the airsense 11 for the first time last night and had a terrible night. I noticed two things. first, my Apple Watch had multiple readings with SpO2 in the 80s, which is no doubt why I feel horrible today. Second, while the old air sense 10 had an average pressure of 10, the new machine had an average of 8. this despite using the same settings.

here are things I'm trying but would love to hear what has worked for others.
- turned off epr
- raised the pressure from 7, my usual setting, to 9
- turned off the auto turn off in case the machine is turning off during the night.

we'll see if this helps but I gather the sensitivity setting is different on this new machine. Is there a way to adjust it??

thanks!

I would try the constant pressure CPAP mode instead of the auto APAP mode and turn all other settings off.

I can say from personal experience that I use both the S10 (home) and S11 (travel), both obtained new in the last 6 months, both in APAP mode with the same pressure ranges and there is no difference between the two as far as sleep performance, and my Oscar charts and data are so similar you cannot tell when I switch from one machine to the other, without checking by date in Oscar.

what settings do you use e.g. EPR? auto on, auto off? etc.

thanks!

RE: Airsense 11 vs Airsense 10 Low SpO2 Readings
Smango, I have split your posts from the old Airsense 11 vs Airsense 10 thread since this is a new topic related to your therapy needs.

Please consider downloading and installing the free OSCAR software. It will give us a much better idea if there are problems that help explain the low SpO2 readings and if we can recommend some setting changes. The image you attached is only SpO2 data and without the therapy data, is not very useful. Oscar gives us a comprehensive view of your respiratory stats, events and device settings. Tutorials on how to Organize your Oscar Chart are in the links in my signature.
