Anyone use a hose lift or hose buddy system?
I recently found that I was inconvenienced to say the least by my trusty bedside companion, my CPAP hose. It lies next to me at the same height as my head and usually stays out of my way- Last night I experienced rain-out for the first time in 3 months. I also use a hose cover to insulate the hose . I heard that placing the hose higher above my head helps keep it out of the way and distributes air better using the gravity of the hose above you. Can anyone suggest a system like Hose buddy or something else that could work?

I made my own hose holder. But, there are plenty of them for sale if you do a search. For me, a hose holder was a night & day difference in comfort and hose management.
There will probably be others coming along soon to recommend a brand and/or a model. ![]()

Got one from Amazon back in 2021 and still using it. Wasn't expensive and definitely keeps the hose out of the way. Never had a problem with rainout either. Read the reviews when when choosing.

Just use a Command Hook above the bed and loop a lanyard or fabric loop around the tube. Been using that system for years.

I ordered and tried about 6 from amazon. Here is the keeper. I like it much and it took me 10 years to make the switch.

Car54, That looks like it works a treat. But dang! It also looks rather venomous.

I had to customize the mount because of my headboard. I did not want to screw it into the headboard. I like the double articulating arm.

Hose management is everything. What works for me to allow sufficient range of motion in x, y, and z axes--suspending the hose from above using a strip of spring steel taped along the length of the hose. The spring steel strip from a discarded automotive windshield wiper is about right. Ideally you won't feel that there's a hose attached at all, but mask type has a lot to do with that as well.
