I went out on a limb and said no, to both the hose and the machine. But, I did want to run it past those of you on here just to be sure.
I've never seen anyone asking or posting about such a topic.
TIA!!

Asking for another.
Would high heat, let's say 85-90 degrees be harmful to a CPAP machine, if left in a room that hot? He's concerned about the hose and his machine.

From the AirSense 10 user guide:
Environmental conditions Operating temperature: +41°F to +95°F (+5°C to +35°C) Note: The air flow for breathing produced by this therapy device can be higher than the temperature of the room. Under extreme ambient temperature conditions (104°F/40°C) the device remains safe. Storage and transport temperature: -4°F to +140°F (-20°C to +60°C)

when you think about it, most everything you buy travels in boats, containers and trucks where it is subject to pretty high heat. not a problem.

That's my usual argument. Even at 115 out, my garage doesn't get 100 and it is insulated (walls, door, and ceiling). Of course, there isn't any room for the cars.
I think the only issue may be if the device was left in a vehicle in direct sunlight.

RE: Asking for another.
The grease in bearing will evaporate, depends on how long you place it in that condition.
Also it will lead to foam deterioration.

In a really dry climate, a homemade swamp cooler could help. |
