Advice Is Appreciated Thanks
Found a mask I like and is working well with leaks. During the night I have some good times and a couple of bad ones. Do the bad ones justify making changes with the settings I am currently using? I'm a side sleeper and I suspect the spikes are caused by positional sleeping i.e. rolled over on my back? The missing time frame around 3am is when I awoke and needed to clean the mask out a bit. It was drool. I'm new to this and appreciate the help. Thank you!

Yes, I think there's a good chance we're looking at positional apnea (and flow limitations). Please read this:
https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...onal_Apnea If you are using a high pillow, or several pillows, the easiest first step to try is switching to a fairly low and firm single pillow. The next step to try would be to use a soft cervical collar. If it's well-fitted, you may find it reasonably comfortable. The third step to try would be trying to sleep on your sides only. You may be able to do this by using artfully placed pillows against your back and in front of you where you can hug them. Or you may need to try something like putting on a pocket t-shirt backwards with a tennis ball in the pocket, or a small backpack with a bulky item in it. If you start typing "side sleep" in the Amazon search box, you'll see a lot of options that might give you some good ideas.

I agree with Dormeo that vast majority of the apneas are Positional Apneas. I would also suggest that you raise your minimum pressure to 7cm, I think that you will find it more comfortable and it is the minimum pressure that you need to take full advantage of EPR. Good luck with your treatment and welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the replies. I ordered a neck collar yesterday and plan to give that a try. I had planned to try it with a nasal mask. But I'll see how it fits with my Dreamwear Hybrid mask. Also going to try some pillows near my back. I forgot to do that the last two nights and my results show it.
