[CPAP] Is the Resmed algorithm missing my AHI events?
#1
Question
Is the Resmed algorithm missing my AHI events?
I'm wondering if this looks right to anyone - my breath curves seem extremely strained, difficulty inhaling, low peak inspiration, big plateau, and difficulty exhaling.

It marks a single hypopnea, but every single breath thereafter looks exactly the same. So why aren't they all hypopneas?

It's like this all night every night. It definitely feels like I'm barely breathing!

RE: Is the Resmed algorithm missing my AHI events?
Looks just like an hypopnea followed by normal breathing to me. Post a full screen shot of the night's data and maybe someone else will spot something. Personal experience is that my Resmed 10 Autoset misses what appears to be the odd hypopnea, but nothing to really worry about. Presumably, it's down to the machine's algorithm.
