[CPAP] No difference after a few months of CPAP.

No difference after a few months of CPAP.
Hi. I was diagnosed with OSA in January and have been using Resmed Airsense 10 with Airfit P30i since Feb. My doctor recommended CPAP pressure of 11, but I have been using the machine on APAP mode with 8-16 pressure range. EPR is set to 3. Even after several months of use, I have failed to notice any difference in my energy levels. I still normally feel tired as I used to before starting CPAP. Am I doing something wrong?

I have attached a screenshot of the 3 most recent sessions.

RE: No difference after a few months of CPAP.
Additional information:

I'm a 38-year-old male.

My sleep study findings were:
Respiratory disturbance index (RDI) of 81.7/hour, Oxygen Nadir 86% at the diagnostic stage. At a pressure of 11cm H2O, residual RDI of 00.0/hour, oxygen nadir of 97%.

Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks

It does not seem that you are too far off here. By the looks of it your 95% flow limitation is a little high. 2 of the three screenshots you posted have a 95% flow limit of 0.13 and 0.12. Ideally you would like the 95 percent flow limit to be under 0.05 in a perfect world. Your 95% flow limit of 0.13 indicates to me you may need more pressure. I would bump up your minimum pressure to 10 to start and slowly work your way up from there if you need to. Also you have maximum pressure set to 16 which is too high as you do not need that much pressure to prevent any obstructive events. So I would go maximum pressure to 14. Leak rate looks good. Try these little adjustments and they should help. I was in the same place with a min pressure too low and really started getting good quality data and feeling much more rested with a smaller gap between min and max pressures. Especially since your Dr. recommended pressure of 11 you could eventually make your way up to a minimum pressure of 11, but for now start with min 10 and max 14. Let me know how this works!
