RE: Sleep MD won't give script for CPAP Setup
If you have garden-variety obstructive sleep apnea, then an in-lab titration study is actually a bad idea, in my opinion, because your first experience of therapy takes place in a setting that is bound to make it fairly unpleasant. Much better to introduce yourself to the new experience gradually and at home. As others have said, auto-adjusting, data-capable machines set to something like 7 to 20 will tell you soon enough where you need to be, especially with the help of the Oscar software and the wonderful experts here.
Once you get your machine, let us know if you'd like some tips about how to get going.
