Flex is a proportional response based on the 'strength' of your breathing, it is also timed significantly differently than ResMeds EPR. It is considered a Comfort feature. This is compared to EPR's Fixed response which appears to be based on PS in the ResMed BiLevels.  EPR, when properly used, is effective in treating Hypopnea,  Flow Limits, RERAs, UARS as well as being a comfort feature.

I'm entitled to a trial of that machine as well. If you think it could be worth validating against my resmed data.
Afterward i could choose the machine working better for me.

I love the idea of trying different machines before making a decision!

Beware when comparing/validating your info, the two brands of machines score things differently.  So if you try to compare AHI between the two machines, the ResMed AHI will be a significantly lower number than the DreamStation AHI.  (I have and use both machines, treating my apnea successfully with both machines, and my AHI on the DreamStation is always higher than on the ResMed.  I've concluded the different brands must calculate the numbers differently.)

I have been mainly using the dreamstation to treat my apnea. Now i'm leaning towards the airsense 10 because of the trial. But i have never tried the dreamstation expert nor the dreamstation in auto mode. It is a good comment to not only base the decision on numbers. The way i feel will be very important. Thanks for that observation i will keep that in mind Smile

Analyzing the data for anyone, that is a no brainer, and we will give you our honest opinion.

Hello Bonjour,

I had my trial with the dreamstatioin expert. Where do you want me to drop the sd card content?
